A. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To manage and oversee the firm’s IP portfolio
• Attending to IP office actions, refusal, hearing or opposition including drafting legal submission and other supporting documents
• Attending to IP legal advisory works including formulating IP strategy, drafting IP agreement and other legal instruments.
• Supervise and lead the executive team to ensure strict compliance of deadlines and quality of work
• Raising IP awareness among communities

B. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Laws
• Preferably 3 years’ experience in IP
• Competent in conducting IP search and filing IP application.
• Competent in preparing and filing response to office actions, refusal and opposition from IP Office.
• Competent in conducting legal research on novel issues and propose solutions
• Competent in drafting agreement and legal instruments
• Excellent command of English
• Meticulous, pay great attention to details

C. REMUNERATION PACKAGE & CAREER PROSPECT

• Basic salary – RM5,500.00 to RM7,000.00 (commensurate with experience and capability)
• Standard statutory benefits eg. EPF, SOCSO, EIS

Upon confirmation, successful candidate will be further offered with the following incentives or benefit:-

• incentive scheme based on profit sharing in addition to above basic salary
• the firm will support successful candidate to participate in Patent and Trademark Agent Examination and Registrations, for career enhancement in IP profession.
