About The Role
This is a key in-house legal role so you’ll provide insight and advice to all areas of our commercial operations such as property, marketing, procurement and IT and you’ll assist the business with its corporate, gambling, anti-money laundering, privacy, liquor licensing and securities compliance obligations. As you can see, it’s a broad role and a great opportunity to get exposure to senior managers working across a diverse range of issues within a high profile, dual-listed public company.
About You
Ideally with around 3 – 5 years post qualification experience and a real passion for the law, you’ll bring to this role a solid commercial grounding gained in either a large law firm or an in-house legal environment. Experience in construction law is preferable, but not essential. SkyCity is a fast-moving business so you’ll be capable of working at pace while providing sound advice in a responsive, customer-focused way. You’ll display superb contract drafting skills as well as advanced communication and interpersonal skills to gain the business’ confidence and credibility quickly.
