Tasks And Responsibilities: Legal counsel (South East Asia Taiwan)
Provide accurate, relevant and timely advice to the business and other functions on relevant legal issues.
Draft, review and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements.
Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business.
Design and deliver legal training to the business.
Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practice.
Communicate with and manage any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors.
Advise the business on changes to legislation, rules and regulations.
Articulate legal risk issues and formulate practical solutions with key stakeholders.
Qualifications

Qualified lawyer
5-8 years pqe
preferably with private practice and in-house experience
Advantage

Fluent in Mandarin or another SEA language
Knowledge of data privacy law
Knowledge of anti-corruption law
